Yes, my TENTH book is finally LIVE!

Early reviews have been so amazing, which is honestly more than we could have ever asked for, because honestly this series means so much to us. If you think that these books are just about zombies *rolls eyes* you're wrong. These books are about love and friendship, they're about accepting yourself and finding a home in a soulless world. 
I'm not going to lie. These books are going to break your heart, and should probably come with a health warning, but I promise that we'll try and put them back together...eventually anyway. *insert evil snicker*

It is the end of the world…

They call him Eagle. Like the grand and beautiful animal that symbolizes freedom. And during these dark times, when humanity is full of nothing but suffering, a man with such a powerful name should be a beacon of hope.

He is anything but.

Her name is Autumn. Though she hasn’t said this name, or much of anything else, in the four years since the fall of civilization. A shell of her former self, and living wild in a cave at the bottom of a ravine, Autumn is accustomed to being alone. She prefers it actually, especially when her only other options for company are either trying to kill her, or worse, lock her up inside their walls.

Captured by Eagle’s people Autumn is suddenly thrust back into the land of the living, though she would hardly call it living. The community of Purgatory is full of sinners, the most evil of which seem to have set their sights on her.

In an act born of anger and defiance, Eagle becomes Autumn’s unexpected savior forcing these two solitary people into one another’s broken worlds. Neither knows quite what to make of the other, but one thing is certain. To survive Purgatory, they will need to learn how to rely on each other; a feat that could quite possibly teach them how to live again.

So, it's been a couple of weeks now, and I thought it was about time that I shared some of the awesome pictures I took while I was there.

The signing was in Birmingham UK at Birmingham City Football club, and honestly, the venue was great! It was set out more unconventional than your standard signings as it was set across four different rooms, but that honestly didn't ruin the event in any way, it only added to it. The main organiser, and also an author herself - Cassandra P. Lewis did a great job of thinking of games for the readers throughout the day, and to make sure that no author was left without people at their table. Everything from 'Author Selfie' to 'Author Bingo' was played, and it made the event really fun for everyone.

The signing had a lot of new authors, and this honestly gave the entire event such a great atmosphere. So many events now are only for bigger named authors, or ones that have bestseller status tucked under their belt, and it was great to have such a good mix of old and new together.
I truly think that the readers enjoyed it too. They got to meet some of their favourites and then also meet some new to them authors.
There was also a really great mix of genres, and instead of just the standard romance authors, there was pretty much every genre you could imagine from horror, to erotica, to romance and to thriller. Such a great idea :-) I definitely met some new favourites.

The day was a huge success, with the help of the Author Wranglers making it even better. I was never left hungry or thirsty or without a smile on my face, and I wouldn't hesitate in attending a signing organised by this team again.
I have also met some friends for life, and look forward to meeting them again at other signings in the future.
