![]() Okay, so tonight we will open with a book cover reveal for the frighteningly fantastic Gregory Carrico. His new book 'Shadow of the World' (Sand 1) came out September 3rd, and if it's anything like his other stories, then you're in for a real treat. We actually have Gregory Carrico coming up in horror month next week, but for now, add this to your kindle! 'Shadow Of The World' (Sand 1) Blurb & Book Cover Reveal In this gritty “Dark Knight meets The Wire” superhero series, an ex-con tries to overcome his blackouts and memory loss with the help of his prison psychiatrist. Along with his returning memories, he finds evidence that his daughter and grandson are in mortal danger from a brutal killer with a grudge. But he also discovers a side to his personality that only comes out during his blackouts: a superhero with telepathic powers. As he finds himself in a complex world of betrayal, dangerous alien biotechnology, and a dimensional rift to a world of waking nightmares, can he bring together the fragments of his broken mind in time to save his family, or is everything he thinks he knows just another figment of a deluded killer’s imagination? Life Ever After (LEA): Nina's Story Part 1![]() Next tonight I have a sneak peak of Life Ever After for you. Life Ever After or LEA as I like to call it, is my zombie contribution to an anthology entitled Fusion, and was released by Breakwater Harbor Books. It's also the prequel to Odium- my full length zombie novel which is releasing October 4th. So, if you can't wait for Odium, then perhaps this will wet your appetite for now. If you do like the teaser then remember that the anthology is actually FREE on Smashwords, and uber cheap on Amazon! Life Ever After ExcerptWe drive in silence with only the pickup’s engine noise, and my racing heart to keep me company. My knuckles are white on the steering wheel as I drive us out of town. The place has been destroyed in only a couple of days. Bodies and blood litter the pavements and roads. Cars sit wedged together in collisions. And deaders roam the ravaged streets that I once called home. I blink once, twice, three times, but the image and my thoughts are still very clear. It’s all gone; all destroyed, and there’s not a damn thing I can do about it. Awesome cover! I haven't had a chance to read this one yet, but Gregory Carrico is one of my "auto" buys. I've loved all the rest of his work, so expect this one will be great as well. ;-)
